Environmental Philosopher
Welcome. I'm an environmental philosopher teaching at Western Carolina University, in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, where I also serve as Director of the Environmental Science Program. I received a masters degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from Texas A&M University in 2006 and a doctorate in Philosophy, also from Texas A&M, in 2008. I wrote under the distinguished John J. McDermott, who taught me so much more than I signed up for. My undergraduate education was in Liberal Arts at Bryan College in Dayton, TN. I am originally from Texas and go back often.
